Maribeth and Mike: We picked up the Marine Corps ring last night, and even though my Marine's birthday isn't until Friday, I gave it to him over dinner and he was thrilled with its unique look!  I even got the following text message from him this morning:  "I love my ring."  He says the heavy white gold masterpiece with the terrific detail will instantly get the attention of all the retired or former military folks with whom he works.  He earned the very best during his years of service, including numerous combat tours in conventional and special operations, and has it now in this ring.
We even liked the wooden box in which it came.

I just received my second eagle ring, the Old Abe, I am deeelighted!! I thought my other ring, the Centurion, was the cat's meow but the Old Abe takes the proverbial cake. If you can look at this ring and not hear Stars and Stripes Forever or not feel extreme pride in being an American then you need to be reported to the Homeland Security Division on Un-American Activities. The Old Abe is the epitome of the goldsmiths' expression of what a true American Eagle crafted into a bold ring should look like! As a retired Navy Command Master Chief, I will take great pride in the wearing of this finely crafted emblem of our mighty nation. Telling sculptors about their creations or painters about theirs probably becomes a bit passé after awhile. I have to say it for me, in a word incredible. “Aviator” is both a work of art in a full sense and an intricate sculpture as well. Although the photographs on your web site are beyond excellent, the only way to capture the fullness of the ring is to put it on. Its heft is perfect and it is quite masculine. By the way, it has replaced my B.A. college ring, for the 1st time since 1978.
